No, our school isn’t closing! The École d’ébénisterie d’art de Montréal (ÉÉAM) is very much alive, full of energy and enthusiasm.
You are an INDIVIDUAL
Because each course must meet specific objectives, according to the framework plans of the Ministère de l’Éducation, we do not accept contracts from individuals in the context of the college training. In addition, our bulletin boards and networks are reserved for internal postings, which means that we do not display classified ads. You can visit the directory of members of the Conseil des métiers d’art du Québec to find a fine woodworker in your region.
You are an ORGANIZATION or a COMPANY
We occasionally accept contracts for certain special projects from organizations or companies if they fit with our activities. Contact us to present your project. Contact us to present your project.
We do not offer internship or job-placement services. In addition, our bulletin boards and networks are reserved for internal postings, which means that we do not display ads or job offers. You can, however, contact the placement service of the Cégep du Vieux Montréal, ÉÉAM’s partner.
Within our planned schedules, our workshops and equipment are reserved exclusively for ÉÉAM’s student and client communities.
We occasionally accept donations, if they are of interest in our activities. Send us a photograph!
For full-day courses, a one-hour lunch pause is planned in the schedule. The ÉÉAM cafeteria has a refrigerator and microwave ovens for you to use. During the week, some restaurants are a short walk away. However, few restaurants in the neighbourhood are open on the weekend, so we recommend that you bring a lunch and take advantage of the break to chat with members of our community.
