Woodworking courses for youth groups

The École d’ébénisterie d’art de Montréal (ÉÉAM) offers woodworking training programs designed for youth groups from schools and organizations. These educational activities allow participants to explore woodworking in a structured, safe, and engaging environment while developing their creativity, dexterity, and independence. Based on your educational objectives, context, and budget, our programs can be adapted to meet your needs.

Give your group a first introduction to the world of woodworking with a discovery workshop. This option includes a guided tour of the school workshop, along with interactive activities and wood exploration games. It is an excellent way to spark curiosity and provide young people with a hands-on, fun, and enriching experience.

For a more in-depth experience, we offer hands-on training programs where participants create one or more wooden objects. These sessions can take place over one or multiple classes, depending on your needs. Participants learn to use basic tools, understand materials, and develop their manual and creative skills in a supervised and safe environment. You can choose from our existing training offerings or opt for a fully customized program. We tailor the content based on your group, context, and educational objectives.
